Isidor Buchmann is the founder and CEO of Cadex Electronics Inc. For more than three decades, he has studied the behaviour of rechargeable batteries in practical, everyday applications. He has written award-winning articles and the bestselling book Batteries in a Portable World, now in its fourth edition, and has spoken at conferences around the world.

Buchmann is also the founder and principal author of BatteryUniversity.com, an educational resource that provides practical battery information for busy professionals, students, technical specialists, and everyday battery users.

Mr. Braich is responsible for accounting operations, human resources, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls at Cadex Electronics. He also co-developed the program-based financial model currently used by the company.

Mr. Braich holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is a Chartered Professional Accountant with CPA British Columbia. Before joining Cadex, he gained four years of experience in public accounting.

Mr. Kapri leads Business and Product Development at Cadex. With more than 20 years of experience in high-tech product development and contract manufacturing, he is responsible for intellectual property, product design, product management, and customer relations.

Before joining Cadex, he co-founded Navigate Surgical Technologies, a Vancouver-based medical device start-up, where he managed operations and product development. Mr. Kapri holds a degree in mechanical engineering.

Mr. Funk is a seasoned technology entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience developing and marketing world-class products. Before joining Cadex, he served as Vice President of Business Development and was a founding member of Sierra Wireless.

He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and has held technology and product development roles at Motorola, MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates, and Mobile Data International.

Mr. Funk is responsible for product planning and management at Cadex.

Tim Zhang is a results-driven operations leader with more than 20 years of experience optimizing global supply chains, manufacturing processes, and quality systems.

He has led major operational transformations in highly regulated industries, improving efficiency, modernizing production, and maintaining high standards of product quality. Before joining Cadex, Tim held senior leadership roles at Procter & Gamble and Nippon Lens Industrial Co., where he built high-performing teams and led strategic improvements across multiple business functions.

As Director of Operations at Cadex, Tim focuses on improving operational efficiency, expanding production capabilities, and delivering long-term value to customers.

Mr. Adams manages OEM accounts across the defence, medical, and other highly regulated industries. With more than 20 years of experience helping partners improve battery reliability, he focuses on customizing and integrating Cadex Diagnostic Battery Management technologies into customer products and applications.

Mr. Adams joined Cadex in 1996 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia.

Mr. Rahim leads the Cadex Spectro Business Unit and is responsible for developing strategic partnerships with vehicle manufacturers and service providers in the transportation sector.

With more than 20 years of experience across the defence, medical, telecommunications, IT, industrial controls, and wireless industries, he has led numerous international and industry-first product launches.

Before joining Cadex, Mr. Rahim served as Vice President of Sales at Avenview, Director of Channel Sales at Icron Technologies, Business Manager at Group Telecom and GEAC Canada, and held a field technical role at GEAC.

Sukhvinder “Suki” Sangha is a senior B2B commercial leader with more than 20 years of experience scaling complex technology businesses across hardware, software, and services.

At Cadex, he focuses on accelerating growth for battery diagnostics and testing solutions by translating technical capabilities into clear customer value, repeatable sales execution, and strategic partnerships. He has led enterprise sales and territory development in mission-critical environments where uptime, safety, and lifecycle performance are essential.

Sean McInnis leads sales for the Cadex Spectro product line, which uses advanced battery modelling to assess capacity and other performance characteristics without traditional load testing.

With more than 20 years of experience in sales leadership and key account management, Sean has held senior roles at Interstate Batteries, Discover Battery, Bridgestone Canada, and Continental Tire Canada. His background gives him a strong understanding of fleet operations, distribution channels, and the practical challenges associated with maintenance and battery replacement programs.

Paul Buchmann is an Executive Director with more than 25 years of experience managing, owning, and operating businesses across technology, real estate, and steel fabrication.

Having worked at Cadex earlier in his career, he brings a strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and business operations. At Cadex, Paul works closely with the senior management team to support innovation, operational continuity, and long-term stability.

Robert Buchmann brings nearly two decades of experience to his role as Executive Director at Cadex. He holds an MBA and a degree in mechanical engineering, supported by extensive experience managing large business operations.

During his time at Cadex, Robert has contributed to product development, built a strong understanding of battery technology, and worked closely with customers. As Executive Director, he collaborates with the senior management team to advance innovation and support the company’s long-term growth.

Tommy Buchmann is an Executive Director and Civil Engineer with over 20 years of experience in real estate operations, local government management, and technical consulting. Early in his career, he gained valuable experience at Cadex in Production.
