Our Story
Derived from “CADmium-EXerciser,” Cadex Electronics Inc. was founded in Vancouver, Canada, in 1980. Founder, President and CEO Isidor Buchmann recognized that nickel-cadmium batteries were not reaching their full potential and developed a battery analyzer to exercise and rejuvenate them.
The company began in a small room in Buchmann’s home under the name Buchmann Enterprises Inc. In 1985, after Cadex became a registered trademark, the company adopted the name Cadex Electronics Inc. and continued its growth into a global leader in battery technology.
