Job Summary:
Cadex has a full time permanent position available for a Quality Technician. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role within the Cadex manufacturing team. With strong organizational and communication skills, this individual will perform a “hands on” role supporting the manufacturing processes at Cadex Canada and management of domestic and off-shore suppliers.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead MRBs for product non-conformance
- Create and maintain product inspection criteria
- Assist Supply Chain with supplier approval and supplier performance reviews
- Coordinate OCAP for SPC
- Create DHR packages
- Contribute to manufacturing process qualification and improvement.
- Completion of post-secondary 2 year diploma in science or engineering or equivalent experience
- 3 years of experience in electromechanical manufacturing environment under ISO 9001 or ISO 13485
- CQT designation an asset
- Basic Knowledge and use of applied statistics in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with workmanship standards such as IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Critical thinker with strong attention to details
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Hands-on individual who enjoys working in a team environment
