Associate Product Manager

Overview:

Cadex Electronics Inc. is a world leader in quality and innovation of battery test systems, chargers, analyzers that optimize battery performance. We are also currently developing a variety of battery packs, battery monitoring systems, charges, analyzers and advanced battery testers which involve complex signal processing. We employ over 65 employees and also operate regional sales offices located in the Nurnberg, Germany.

The Position: Associate Product Manager:

We are currently recruiting for Associate Product Manager to join our growing organization. Reporting to the Director Product Management, the successful candidate will support the development of new product designs, and be expected to provide for existing products.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Perform and Track Product Management activities, ensuring they run efficiently and in compliance with internal quality system procedures, industry standards, and regulations
  • Work closely with Product Manager to innovative, industry-leading features and products that uniquely serve corporate customers, differentiating via design and creativity
  • Coordinate strategy, tactics, and delivery timelines of products
  • Principal liaison between Product Manager and cross-functional teams as required
  • Manage, coordinate and track voice of customer (VOC) input
  • Establish and track product key differentiators and competitor matrix
  • Perform validation testing of product pre-release
  • Manage, consolidate and track bug-fixes, and feature requests
  • Maintain a prioritization of backlog features and customer requests that aligned with available engineering capacity and map to an overall solution road map
  • Work closely with internal stakeholder team to understand the business and adapt solutions as it evolves
  • Support and contribute to product sales and marketing efforts and activities, such as feature description and new release content
  • Work closely with Engineering to ensure solutions are ultimately delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Participate and contribute in weekly project core-team meetings with key stakeholders
  • Manage and coordinate yearly/quarterly/monthly Product Management KPI
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life-science/Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years’ experience in product management field, product introduction, engineering support and customer facing for marketed product, spanning the full product life cycle.
  • Experience in product management within a quality system that meets FDA, ISO13485 is preferred
  • Experience working in a ISO9001 and cGMP environment and design validation
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Proficient planning, scheduling, and organizing skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills including root-cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone, etc)
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
