Eviation Aircraft: The Future of Ride-Sharing in the Sky?
With Elon Musk's Space X Planes, and Uber's flying car project in the works, the future of commuting may, quite literally, be taken to new heights.
Eviation Aircraft, an Israel-based startup is working on a self-piloting, electric aircraft which hopes to become "Uber meeting Tesla in the sky." The electric jet is said to have an expected range of about 650 miles (1,050 kilometers).
While their small-scale prototype was showcased at the Paris Air Show earlier this year, they intend to produce a full-scale electric aircraft capable of carrying passengers by 2019.
