Wired.com has turned to Cadex Electronics CEO Isidor Buchmann for advice on laptop battery charging. Once a laptop is charged to 100%, or rather, 80%, you should unplug your charger from your laptop and let it drain to about 40% before recharging. By doing so, you are prolonging your laptops battery life, to as much as four times longer.
