Experimental Testing
With PC-BatteryLab, the Cadex C8000 is capable of controlling thermal chambers, external chargers, load banks, heating elements, temperature sensors, pressure gauges, safety circuits and proactive alarms. The system offers four analog inputs to monitor individual cells. Batteries can by tested under GSM, TDMA, CDMA or other stored load profiles. In addition to battery testing, the C8000 also checks the function of a charger, measures the cut-off point of intrinsically safe batteries and verifies proper function of protection circuits in lithium-ion packs.
