Zoll required a portable battery system that provides 2000 watts of peak power. Cadex developed a dual-bay battery charger operating on the SMBus. The system is self-calibrating and provides continuous fuel gauge information. The charger automatically conditions the 32-volt batteries every tenth cycle. The chargers and battery packs meet international safety and FDA standards.
