Battery Maintenance Systems
As our world becomes both more portable and connected, batteries and battery health have become increasingly critical - whether saving lives or the bottom line. Accurate and timely insight into individual battery and/or battery fleet capacity is the bedrock for optimization. Centred around the C7000 Series of advanced programmable analyzers, Cadex Battery Maintenance Systems are extended by software and accessories that drive functionality, ease of use, and integration into larger organizational processes.
A complete battery maintenance system allows you to:
A complete battery maintenance system allows you to:
- Prime batteries prior to use in your equipment
- Test batteries to ensure they will perform when needed
- Track batteries to optimize their use in your fleet and replace them only when necessary
- Label batteries to allow users to know that that they have are using a good battery
- Improved safety and reliability
- Lower battery costs
- Higher productivity
Products
Battery Maintenance Systems featuring the C7000 family of analyzers allow users to test, track, label, and maintain fleets of batteries to ensure their equipment is always ready to go and save money on unnecessary battery replacements.ALL-IN-ONE BUNDLES

Features
Security code safeguards against tampering
The C7000 Series offers password protection. Being able to lock the analyzer minimizes staff training and prevents unauthorized changes of critical settings. The analyzer offers three security levels. |
Performs battery lifecycle tests
Reverse Load Charge improves charge efficiency
Adjustable Target Capacity sets battery pass/fail criteria
Recondition restores nickel-based batteries
Capacity loss on nickel-based batteries is often reversible with a discharge cycle to 1V/cell (Exercise). In many cases, Exercise alone is not sufficient and Recondition is required. Recondition is a deep discharge that dissolves the crystalline formation or memory. The chart shows the capacity gain achieved on batteries with memory. A further improvement was possible on a new battery. |
Standby mode keeps batteries fresh
Nickel-based batteries should not sit in chargers for any length of time. This poses a problem if the batteries are needed for operational readiness. The Standby mode of the C7000 Series automatically cycles a battery every 30 days to prevent memory. The LCD displays the last four capacity readings while retaining the original reading as reference. Only one battery of a multi-analyzer system is put on discharge at any given time. |
