Over the years, Paul has built successful businesses from the ground up that offer unique brand recognition, environmental responsibility, technological adoption and market diversification. At Cadex, Paul is driving the expansion of the range of battery diagnostic and battery management solutions, and plants deep roots in global markets through strategic partnerships and channel development.
Mark Richter is responsible for a staff of 17 engineers, performing project management, product development, hardware and firmware design, PC based software, mechanical design, certification, testing and verification. He has over 23 years of experience in the electronics industry.
He has been the project leader for many successful Cadex commercial products, including the flagship C7000 Series battery analyzers, the UCC battery charger series and the Spectro Series hand held tester. Mr. Richter has also been the project leader for several custom designed OEM chargers for HP, ZOLL Circulation, Thales, IBM, Nextel, Medtronic Physio Control and Philips Medical Systems.
Joern Tinnemeyer leads the Research and Development team at Cadex Electronics Inc. He is the inventor of advanced battery rapid-test technologies, including Spectro™, and holds several patents relating to battery testing technology.
He has attained a number of awards, honors and prestigious international research scholarships. He has also presented many papers at conferences around the world. His primary foci of expertise include energy storage devices, system design, digital signal processing, and control theory. His main areas of interest are applied non-linear algorithms and information theory.
Helping customers is our first priority. Bruce Adams leads the customer-focused Cadex sales team, relying on 18 years experience delivering technology products to medical, defence, communications and computing customers around the world.
Bruce joined Cadex in 1996 after stops in clinical medical sciences, science systems and healthcare sales - he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia.
Dave Birkenheuer has overall responsibility for the Company's operations including manufacturing, quality and supply chain. Prior to joining Cadex, Dave held Manufacturing and Operations management positions with LSI Logic and Spectrum Signal Processing and led teams during the companies early development and growth years.
Dave brings a wealth of leadership and operations experience built upon 20 years of experience in the electronics industry. Dave's passion is in best in class delivery systems supporting the most demanding customer requirements.
Grant Harlow has 20 years experience in product management, corporate strategy, marketing communications, corporate communications, and strategic business development for products, technologies, and services combining electronics, thermal management, embedded firmware, software, optics, and system integration.
He joined Cadex in 2009 as Director of Product Management having previously held Director level positions with Philips Electronics and TIR Systems Ltd. Mr. Harlow holds a Bachelors degree in Engineering from the University of British Columbia.Derek Pettingale has over 18 years of sales and marketing experience and is responsible for business development in all Cadex market segments around the world.
He is experienced with battery and power conversion technologies and has previously held Director level positions in sales and marketing roles at Teleflex Power Systems, Xantrex Technology, and Statpower Technologies.
Wade Van Pelt has 12 years experience in the electronic field and manages the Cadex production floor. He is responsible for the manufacturing of Cadex off-the-shelf battery analyzers, chargers and custom battery packs, including OEM products for Hewlett Packard, Medtronic Physio-Control, Welch-Allyn, Sprint PCS, Motorola and Nextel.
Wade has been identified as a strong, dynamic leader with a tenacious approach in pursuing improvement. He is adept in motivating team members to strive for the best in their daily and long term goals.Louis McGarry oversees the quality control division of Cadex Electronics Inc. His duties include managing the company ISO compliance, quality control, document control, control of non-conforming products, corrective and preventive actions and internal quality auditing.
He succeeded in obtaining ISO 9000 certification for Cadex (ISO 9002 in February 1998 and ISO 9001 in April 1999). Mr. McGarry also designed and implemented an SPC system approved by Lockheed Martin, obtained quality system approval from Motorola and acquired quality system approval from Medtronic Physio-Control.
