Research Engineer
We are currently recruiting for a Research Engineer to join our growing organization. Reporting to the Vice President of Research & Development, the successful candidate will work with a team developing new battery test methods and test procedures. With strong organizational and problem solving skills, this individual will also be responsible for product support and documentation.

Requirements:
  • University degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Physics
  • Strong experience in numerical computation techniques and scientific algorithm development in a u-controller environment
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in the following areas:
    • Numeric computation or ability to design/modify hardware
    • Mathematical optimization methods
    • Design, prototyping, development and testing of numeric algorithms in C
  • Firmware based DSP experience an asset
  • Knowledge of statistical methods
  • Knowledge of Labview and Matlab
  • Experience with Fuzzy Logic and Neural Network
  • Knowledge of batteries

Manufacturing Engineer
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer. Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, you will be a primary link between Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and external manufacturing and assembly vendors.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in an ISO 9001 electronics company involved in design and manufacturing of embedded products
  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Experience with medical products and ISO13485 highly desired
  • Mechanical design experience using Solid Works, Pro-E or other mechanical CAD software
  • Hands-on experience in electronics product design and manufacturing required
  • Highly organized and able to provide well organized and detailed documentation
  • Strong communication skills, and must possess fluent English both spoken and written
